Hi there,
yesterday when someone asked me about where I live, I was wondering if I'm right to answer like:

1) I live 3 km east from where you live
2) I live 3 km east away from where you live

3) I live 3 km to the east of where you live
4) I live 3 km away to the east of where you live

Are they grammatically right?
Thanks.

I would use (3), probably shortening it to "I live 3 km to the east of you", but I wouldn't be surprised to come across (1).

    I don't think (2) or (4) work. :(
