a 6-year 2-month 9-day project (no commas?)

Are these correctly punctuated per BrE? I don't think I need commas separators between 'year(s)', 'month(s)' and 'day(s)'. I think that comma insertions would clutter these very readable sentences—do you agree with all of my examples as exactly punctuated? Thank you for your help and time. Extremely appreciative.

Thank you very much.
