Hi friends,

Undoubtedly at first glance we can say a herbalist is the correct form, but surprisingly I saw an herbalists in some texts.
Your comments would be highly appreciated.

Regards,
Amir

A herbalist is right in BE, but presumably an herbalist is right in AE since in the States the “h” is not sounded when herb, herbalist, etc. is said aloud.

That's correct. It would be awkward to say a herbalist in American English because of the succession of vowel sounds.
