Today i was writing an email to a customer,
This was my sentence "the installation of a Solar Photovoltaic Plant at the roof top" but my colleague told me to remove 'a' and 'the' from the sentence.

Can anyone explain what the difference between two sentences??

That is only part of a sentence. Can you give us the complete sentence? In a complete sentence you would probably want 'a' and 'the' where you put them, but we can't be sure without seeing it in full.

Based on the site survey for the installation of Solar Photovoltaic Plant at roof top of KSFDC, Trivandrum, proposed location is not suitable for Solar PV power Plant installation due to shadow problem.
