This is the title of the introductory chapter of a handbook:
"A background for the journey". I am not sure if it sounds ok.
Would "A background to the journey" or "A background to the trip" sound better?
Thanks

I am referring to the introducory chapter of a book, where I describe the background info that is necessary to understand the "journey", that's to say the book.
    thanks

Hello, GigiRD. I prefer "A Background to the Journey". Your other two possibilities would also work well enough.
