I'd like to know if we can say: THE DOOR IS NOT WELL CLOSED , or if it sounds better to say: THE DOOR IS BADLY CLOSED.

Thanks. Any other suggestion to express the same thing is welcome.

    Sorry, I don't think either of those sounds particularly perfect, though they would definitely be understood. I think I'd say "The door is not shut properly", or "the door is ajar."

    yes, it sounds like the person was not talented enough to be able to close a door. AmEn also uses, "The door is ajar." In fact, some cars have recordings that say this to you when the car door is open. It's very annoying. "The door is ajar! The door is ajar!"
