a big, comfy California King over in <Bedding>

< Previous | Next >

Shreck is giving a party, somewhere at his place. Bruce and Selina are slow-dancing. Selina:
-- There's a big, comfy California King over in Bedding. What do you say?
-- You mean, take off our costumes?
Batman Returns, movie

It's capitalized in the transcript. What do you think "Bedding" is here? Thank you.

    Hi Vik.

It usually means a department in a store which sells beds and bed linen.

A 'California King' would be a large 'king sized' bed on sale in that department.

Maybe such a bed was seen on a visit to a department store.
