I know that "enough" can be used as an adverb after an adjective and as an adjective before a noun.

1) It is big enough.
2) I have enough money.

But can it be used between an adjective and a noun?

E.g. I was a big enough fool tobelieve her.

Similarly, can I say "We were big enough fools to believe her" or is it ungrammatical?
