I'd appreciate it if someone would answer my question. Thanks in advance.

A: A book is on the table.

B: There is a book on the table.

Some native speakers say A is not good, but others don't say so.

If A is not good, is it because new information is stated at the top of the sentence?

Another reason might be; I feel sometimes there is a slight nuance that a book has begun to exist suddenly. Am I right?
