A case in point alternatives?

I was writing this thing and I've written "a case in point" so many times now. Can anyone suggest good alternatives? (I am familiar with "a good example", of course)

How about:
"An eloquent example"/"a pertinent case"/

I do not know if these could be used interchangably with "a case in point"(?)

Yes they can, as can "comes to mind here" and other references to having one's attention drawn to something, or having one's memory jogged.

Please show us "this thing". There are many other ways to point to an example. Some will work better than others, depending on the context.
