A contribution that your faith would have led you to make

    Hallo people,

    i want to say that (for example, giving money to the poor) is a contribution (to society) that one's faith would have led them to make. But they made a different one, ie witheld.

    So how do i say: Its a contribution that your faith would have led you to make?

    C'est une contribution que votre foi vous ameneriez à effectuer (sounds woefully wrong).

    Can someone help?

    I word it a differente way

    "cela aurait pû être votre foi qui vous aurait incité (e) à contribuer" ?

    Bonjour,

    "C'est une contribution que votre foi vous aurait amené à effectuer" (amenée si on s'adresse à une femme)
