This is an exclusively British English expression, as far as I can tell. I'd like to find out what it means and see if there's a French equivalent. :)

"She turns out to be the granddaughter of the deceased, and a dab hand at reversing down Paris streets in a car the size of a pissoir."

I think it is BE and Aus E.

I'm a dab hand at researching idioms.

    Origin appears to be obscure.

Also, "Elle a le truc"? :)

    Thanks a lot.
