Hi everybody,
I need your help in translating the following medical sentence:

"Leichte a.e. unspezifische Erniedrigung von C1-Esterase-Inhibitor".

My problem is especially the abbreviation a.e., I didn't manage to find any reasonable explanation about it! Moreover, I don't understand if "von", in this context, means "by" or "of".
In Italian the translation should be "Leggera degradazione a.e. (?) aspecifica da parte/degli inibitori della C1 esterasi".

Could someone help me, please?

Many thanks in advance

"a.e." is most likely short for "altersentsprechend" (appropriate, considering the patient's age).
    "von" means "of" here.
