Could you spare me a few words as for the reason why "Nothing is as much important as our health?"

Does the part in bold sound right to you? If not, how do you express the same idea? Thanks.

I'm more familiar with saying "could you spare me a few moments [to explain...]" but I guess yours could be a viable alternative. It's just that I haven't heard it so far :p

I would ask: "Would you mind explaining, in a few words, why you said that nothing is as important as our health?"

By "natural," I meant that the phrase is more common/idiomatic without the "me." I feel quite sure about this, at least as far as AE.
Thanks again, bibliolept, for your time.
On second thought, I realize we also have this similar expresion with "me" attached to it always in our language. So, I'd like to make sure if I use it with "me" in it, will it sound lame to you?
