Hi everybody,
1. For a few years my brother worked on the plant.
Can I write the sentence without 'for'?
Will it be correct grammatically and mean the same?
Please comment.
Thanks,
Er.S.M.M.Hanifa

You will have to explain what your sentence means. It is rather ambiguous and context and background will be required if the correct preposition (or zero prep.) is to be determined.
