a fighter/ un(e) battant(e)

    Bonjour,
    Dans la phrase suivante,

    "Be strong, be a fighter"

    j'aimerai savoir si le mot "fighter" peut désigner un battant, c-a-d qq'un qui se bat dans la vie, qq'un de déterminé, de courageux, qui surmonte les épreuves ? :confused:

    En fait, j'ai voulu traduire cette phrase : "sois fort, sois un battant"
