Hello, I’m struggling to find a sense, let alone a translation, for this:

“Il motore è equipaggiato con un filtro olio a filtraggio totale di alta qualità.”

Searching around a bit, perhaps it might be a way of writing "filtraggio a portata totale", but that still leaves me substantially in the dark. Does anyone have anything more convincing than "total filtration oil filter" to suggest?

    • Here they talk about filtri a portata totale - as you say, it might be that, because a filtraggio totale is nowhere to be found on Google;). If you read the English version of the page they call filtri a portata totale "full-flow filters", by the way.

    However, I think we need the experts in here...:)

    Kidding of course, but while we're waiting for Benzene, I can say that this crap is called "full flow filter" as London said.

    @london is right.

    "Filtro olio a filtraggio totale" = "full-flow oil filter".

    A full-flow filter filters 100% of the oil which goes through the engine.
