    Hello,

Could someone please explain to me what a fishing cast means? The word appears in a travel documentary called Sahara (with Michael Palin). The context is as follows:

Man1: I'm lebou from my own origin.
    Man2: "Lebou"?
Man3: "Lebou" is a fishing cast.
Man2: Oh right, from fishing people.

Could it be a fishing "caste"?

Though "caste" is originally related to Indian culture, I understand
it can be used for social groupings elsewhere if the groups are
    mutually exclusive.

That could very well be the case. At least it makes more sense to me! I made the error of trusting the script blindly. So thank you very much for your comment, Trimple! :)
