Hello everyone

I would like to know which one you would say:

"Today, I was the interpreter of a german girl."

or

"Today, I was a german girl's interpreter."

or

How would you say it in a "possessive way"?

Thanks in advance.

    I agree with Copyright.

"Today, I was the interpreter of a german girl."
That could be "interpreted" in the wrong way. :) Anyway, that just doesn't work in this context.

One other alternative, possibly "I interpreted for a German girl today."
