A great deal/considerably wider accesibility

Please, I need your help. I'm working on an article about museums, explaining that museums are in danger of becoming a leisure activity, and I have the following sentence:
'A great deal/Considerably wider accesibility means a decline in the quest for serious reflection and deeper understanding'.
Could you tell me whether there is a difference in meaning or grammar if I use 'a great deal' or 'considerably'?
Thanks in advance :)
