    Hello there-

I am translating a piece on the uprisings in Cuba against Spanish control in the 1800s. The phrase 'a group led by small-scale planters' refers to the industrial leaders who rose against the Spanish. Any help with this phrase would be appreciated.

Hi avent1urera, welcome to the forum.
Industrial leaders? In 1800's Cuba? Perhaps it refers to small land propietors. In Spanish it would be:
