    I´ve been investigating stuff about generations, and a generation is defined as a group of people born over a period of about 20 years, I´ve been trying to translate it but none of my tries makes sense so I thought you could help me with that, please? thanks.

    ¿Con "it" te refieres a traducir la frase " a generation is defined as a group of people born over a period of about 20 years"? Podrías hablar de "intervalo" o de "espacio de tiempo", que no es otra cosa que la definición de intervalo: Una generación se define como el grupo de personas nacidas en un intervalo de 20 años.
