    Es una joven que ha tenido la polio, se ha medio curado y ya puede volver al cole.
    En otros momentos se habla de "plaster body cast" o simplemente "body cast" "plaster cast".

    ¿Algún enfermero hispanoparlante en el foro (mejor que paciente!)?

    plaster cast = un molde de yeso
    cast = escayola
    heavy cast = escayola pesada
    body cast = escayola que cubre el cuerpo

    A body cast can cover more than your torso. When I was two, I was in one down to my knees!

    No need to apologize! I was just clarifying.

    I was born with an orthopedic disability, and I was in for months following an operation.
