I want to say: "Good night, a kiss of sweet dreams"
please, give a hand in the maze of love!
In Italian we usualy say Buona notte e sogni d'oro. There is also the expression il bacio della buona notte... but obviously you can't use together with good night, it would be repetitive
so can I say?:
"un bacio della buona notte"
I don't know why (probably because it is a fixed expression), but it is better to say il bacio (and not un) and also to use it with a verb:
- dare/mandare/ricevere (ecc.) il bacio della buona notte!
To me, a nice way of wishing sweet dreams with a kiss could be ti auguro sogni d'oro con il bacio della buona notte! This is not a fixed expression but sounds quite cute!
that's exactly what I was looking for, thanks!
