Hi everyone and thanks for reading this thread. I wonder how can I say in English: Es importante tener esta información al alcance de la mano?
    My attempt:
It is important to have this information handy.
It would be necessary to have this information within reach.
I hope you could help me :)
    Cheers!

It is important to have this information handy.
It would be necessary to have this information within reach. It is not wrong, but it is not an accurate translation, nor does it sound natural. You could reword it as follows. "It is important to have this information within reach."
Another option -- "It is important to keep this information close at hand."

    within reach adv
No tengo el ordenador al alcance de la mano ahora, luego lo miro. Déjame esos papeles sobre el escritorio para tenerlos a mano.
My computer isn't close by right now, so I'll check it later.

Thank you very much. I really appreciate your help guys.
Jilar, thanks my friend for the link I had verified that translation before, but I wanted to know if "handy" would fit in this scenario.
