A little (of) gymnastics

New Member
Are both of these sentences correct?
- I do a little of gymnastics
- I do a little gymnastics

Thank you for your inputs!

Thanks so much for your help.I knew a little is not followed by OF unless we use a prepositional phrase or specify something ( I ate a little "of the cake you made") but I came across some sentences on the web which used a little OF as a quantifier and made me doubt about the topic.
