A mí/En cuanto a mi/Yo

Decido a intentar a mejorar mi español después de muchos años sin usarlo. Mís problemas siempre han sido producción y gramática. Pues estoy intentando a traducir una cuenta de inglés a español que me interese. /I have decided to try to improve my Spanish after many years of not using it. My problems have always has been production and grammer. So I decided to try to translate a story that interests me from English to Spanish.******



La carácter se está escribiendo su primer entrada en un diario. Empieza hablar up poco de porque ella está escribiendo, que es que su familia está haciendo y entonces ella habla de su misma. Se escribe: /The character is writing her first journal entry. She starts talking a little bit about why she is writing, what it is that her family is doing and then she talks about herself. She writes:

No sé si es mejor empezar la frase con A mí, En cuanto a mi, o Yo. ¨Me...¨ en ingles también se pueda significa "As for me.." "En cuanto a mi" aparece a ser la mejor, pues la carácter solo escribe un palabra ¨Me" (inglés) que significa "As for me". ¿Debo usar ¨En cuanto a mi¨ o hay algo más breve que uno se puede escribir en un diaria para escribir más rapído. La carácter se siente culpable por pasa el tiempo escribiendo en un diaria en vez de hacer cosas más importantes./I don't know if it is better to start the sentence with: A mí, En cuanto a mi, o Yo. "Me..." in English can also mean "As for me..." "En cuanto a mi" aprears to be the best choice, but the character only writes one word "Me" signifying "as for me". Should I use " En cuanto a mi" or is there something shorter that one would write in a journal to write quicker? The character is feeling guilty for taking time to write in a journal instead of doing more important things.

"En cuanto a mí" sounds great. But "Yo" would fit also. I would like to see the complete sentence.

Also, you have some mistakes:

It's not "la caracter", it's "El personaje", sounds awkward, but you can't say "La personaje" even if it's a she, "personaje" is always masculine.
Maybe if she is the main character you can say "La protagonista".

It's not "se está" because "se" would imply that she is writing herself.

El personaje está escribiendo su primera entrada en un diario.

Empieza a hablar un poco acerca de por qué(its not porque, because = "porque"; why = "por qué") está escribiendo, qué(accent in "e") es lo que su familia está haciendo y luego habla de sí misma. Ella escribe:

Yo / En cuanto a mí... estoy atorada intentando...

What you say is not very clear.

I can tell you: "as for me" = "en cuanto a mí" , "en lo que a mí respecta".

Más breve sería simplemente: "Yo"

Me … it seems I’m stuck trying to keep everything else together and trying to inject some normalcy here and there in our suddenly far from normal lives.

Yo..estoy atorada intentando mantener todo el resto en orden y intentando infundir algún normalidad aquí y allá en nuestras vidas que de pronto no son tan normales.

En ese caso me encanta "En cuanto a mí", suena más a historia.

En cuanto a mí... parece que estoy atorada intentando mantener todo lo demás en orden e intentando infundir algo de normalidad aquí y allá en nuestras vidas que de pronto no son tan normales.

Cuando sigue una "i" usamos "e", no "y". It's like "a" apple vs. "an" apple.

No me gusta "el resto en orden", pero no lo puedo justificar.

"suddenly far from normal lives" that's what I really love about English, it's so short and precise at the same time.

When you say "de pronto no son tan normales" aren't you missing "far" from the translation?

Gracias a todos otra vez. Me doy cuenta de que he cometido muchos errores y trataré de tenerlo en mente y sea más cauteloso cuando revise y correge los errores antes de publicar un mensaje.

No me gusta "el resto en orden", pero no lo puedo justificar.

A mi también suena demasiado inglés y no como un hispanohablante lo diría, gracias por la sugerencia.

Tiene razon, aunque mi primer enfoque era la empieza de la frase. Pues, ¿tengo que abrir un nuevo hilo por lo demas, verdad?

Gracias por la ayuda, He deshabilitado la función de auto corrección de palabras en Word para que los errores será mis propios y no porque la computadora ha cambiado la palabra española a una palabra inglés.
