I am working on city branding and I wanted to write a motto both for advertisement and promotional materials. I think I would say something like "a marvel on the silk road" . Would that be a correct expression both in terms of grammar and meaning? many thanks.

I'm afraid we don't discuss advertising slogans -- please see here for the rule. I will tell you, however, that it's grammatical and makes sense. You'll want to use four more capital letters than you have.
