a piece of chicken

New Member

I am practicing all the words to say slice, piece, etc and I would like to know if the word trozo or pieza is used in Mexico to refer to a piece of chicken.

Me gustaría una pieza / un trozo de pollo.

In English, if I am craving chicken then I say I want a piece of chicken without bothers to clarify what part of the chicken or how its cooked. I assume it works the same in Latin America?

Thanks everyone

C'mon pops! Why not cacho while you're at it!:D
    Presa as idiomático states.
In our local Pollo Locos they call them piezas, but I think it´s just because it´s similar to pieces.
