.... nos acostamos poco después de la medianoche.

    However:

Entonces volvimos a casa y nos acostamos pasadita la medianoche.

Entonces volvimos a casa y nos acostamos despuesito de la medianoche.

pasadita y despuesito = very colloquial expressions ... they mean exactly a little after... the suffix -ito, -ita turns words into a meaning of: a little (something)...

"Pasadito" and "despuesito" sound really funny for speakers from Spain. I wouldn't use those expressions unless if restricted to a certain geographical area.

    Saludos

Yes, I know!!! that is why I wrote: a very colloquial expression... maybe in Spain you do not use those, but in some countries in America it is common to hear that kind of "funny" expressions...

Creo que pasadito y despuesito son expresiones mas usadas en Sudamérica. En España por ejemplo, esas expresiones no se utilizan.

Luego volvimos a casa y nos acostamos poco después de la miedanoche.
El la lo puedes usar o no indistintamente

    Un saludo amigos
