A political jingle

I remember a political jingle from Bill Clinton era: "Like father like son, one term and Bush is done."

Source: English thinking practice by me.

The question of the thread is whether the word jingle is used correctly in English.

Thanks in advance

You can find "jingle" in an appropriate definition in the WRF dictionary:thumbsup:
I've searched our dictionary there before posting the thread and only found such use in a commercial context. Whether it could be used in political background is unclear.

(Note: I presupposed that advertisement is basically commercial.)
