    Hola foreros, Hi all,

    I need to translate the following expression into Spanish. Below is my try, which doesn't entirely convince me. Any better suggestions?

    • "a process which can start from small beginnings" (the original)
    • "un proceso que puede comenzar desde principios pequeños" (my attempted translation)
    This sentence comes from a text on Integrated Water Resources Management, which is a process which promotes the consideration of all water-related issues in a holistic way. Many thanks in advance.

    Cheers

    Hi,

    I would say something like;

    Un proceso que puede comenzar modestamente.

    Do you have more context?

    Thanks guys. I like apuquipa's suggestion, which I think I'll go with. The idea is that you don't have to wait for some master plan to be implemented before acting to support the principle of Integrated Water Resources Management, as often the master plan will never come, but the most important thing is to actually get started with something (hence the "small beginnings").

    Cheers
