Hi,

Question:

Which sentence is correct.

Sentence1:
I am responsible for preparing a range of fruits, such as apples, oranges and bananas.

Sentence2:
I am responsible for preparing a range of fruits, such as apple, orange and bananas.

My opinion:
Sentence1: the no. of each food I prepared is more than 1, so it is ok.
Sentence2: I usd the word "apple" to represent all apples I preapred, so it is ok.

thanks

Variety sounds much better in my opinion. But there is nothing incorrect about range.
I am responsible for preparing a variety of fruits, such as apples, oranges and bananas. Sentence #1 is correct.

    Hi,

    Question:
    Which sentence is correct.

    Sentence1:

    Sentence2:
I am responsible for preparing a range of fruits, such as apple, orange and bananas.

    My opinion:
Sentence1: the no. of each food I prepared is more than 1, so it is ok. (Not quite. It would be a short employent or job if you only prepare one apple in your life, so the logis is not quite right).
Sentence2: I usd the word "apple" to represent all apples I preapred, so it is ok. (NO)

    thanks
