A set of beads, the gaudies tricked in green

    Hola,


    Continuando con "The Canterbury Tales", me encuentro con estos versos:


    "She wore a cora trinket on her arm,
    a set of beads, the gaudies tricked in green,
    whence hung a golden brooch of brightest sheen
    on which there first was graven a crowned A,
    and lower, Amor vincit omnia."

    Mi pregunta es sobre "the gaudies tricked in green". Se, porque lo explica el libro que "gaudies" se refiere a un grupo de cuentas del rosario, pero no entiendo lo que significa "tricked in green".

    Gracias Biffo. Habia buscado simplemente "tricked" y no habia encontrado la deficnición.
