Hi,

Question:
Which sentences are correct?

Sentence1:

I experienced in using a statistical software called SPSS.
Sentence2:
I experienced in using a statistical software named SPSS.
Sentence3:
I experienced in using a statistical software - SPSS.

My opinion:
Sentence3 is the best.
Sentence1 is fine.
Sentence2 is not good.

Thanks

    Hello uktous,

All of the sentences are badly flawed, and not at all idiomatic. Here are the problems:

    1. a software. As has been discussed in many previous threads, unless you are an intellectual property attorney, the noun software does not take an indefinite article.
This should be restated as either statistical software or as a statistical software program. Do not say a software.

    2. I experienced. No! I am experienced or I have experience.
