Hi:


Could you help me to translate that sentence into Spanish I don´t have a context. I saw this in a worksheet where they are teaching The Possessive forms of Nouns.


Could you give me some examples to know how to use it please.

    Sin contexto es bastante difícil, la verdad. Pero, si te soy sincera, no recuerdo haber visto nunca esto. Parece más una traducción de coña de expresiones españolas. Yo diría que eso es " a tiro de piedra"

    Quiere decir que algo se encuentra a una distancia que uno podría alcanzar tirando una piedra. Por ejemplo, "The park is just a stone's throw away."

    In use it is often equivalent to "a la vuelta de la esquina" or "a medio minuto",

    "Y tienes el parque a medio minuto" = "And the park's just a stone's throw away"
