He looks like a wet weekend, she's got a face as long as gasman's mackintosh, and you look like a Cleethorpes donkey on a Bank Holiday Monday.
Ok, I'd like to find something that sounds similar in Spanish. I know they all mean sad and/or bitter.
so how about:
-tener la cara larga
-tener la cara más larga que un día sin pan
-tener cara de viernes
-parecer un cerdo cerca de San Martín

¿otras ideas? Mil gracias

    en español , supongo que ’la cara como un bulldog mascando una avispa ' suena bien ... does this work in Spanish ???

    He estado en Cleethorpes muchas veces. La expresión se refiere a la mirada agotada (figurativa) de los burros que se pueden ver en la playa dándoles tantos paseos a los turistas, sobre todo durante las fiestas nacionales.

    We also say Sick as a Skegness donkey. Skegness es un pueblo cerca de Cleethorpes.
