Hola, en On the road se define a un personaje de la siguiente manera:
"Terry arrived with her brother, his buddy, and her child. Her brother was a wild-buck Mexican hotcat with a hunger for booze, a great good kid."
¿Cuál sería una traducción más o menos precisa de las palabras en negrita?
Gracias

Wild-buck and hotcat both imply a sexually potent hot-blooded young man but I'm not sure what the best translation in Spanish would be. What would you say?
I think they say "potro" in Argentina, right?

Jaja, sí, "potro" es perfecto. Muchas gracias.
It's a funny coincidence but I was just watching some Clint Eastwood movie on TV and some kid who's shot says right before he dies: I feel as pert as a rutting buck (me siento tan vivaz como un cabrío en celos). The guy who wrote the Spanish subtitles obviously didn't understand anything and put: Me siento morir...
