Therefore, in light of Dr. Chen’s extraordinary ability in the clinic, scholarship, education, scientific research and other aspects of sports medicine, I believe Dr. Chen is the very talent desired by America.

Hi. This sentence is a translation by me. I’m wondering if I need to pluralize the word “ability”?
Thank you.

It's fine as ability or abilities, but there's something else wrong with the sentence. It might be off-topic to comment but please take another look at what you want "ability" to apply to.
