About handwriting: 祈、神、etc.

Hi,

I open a new thread since it's a new radical, but the question is related to the handwriting of the radical ukammuri
In this case, following the same logic, I thought that the first stroke would be straight, but I saw it tilted leftwards (almost) everywhere. Is in this case "standard", and by standard I mean acceptable in school for example, to write it straight?

Thanks again,

The first stroke of a shimesuhen should tilt leftwards. Sorry there is no logic, but it is most natural when written like the katakana ネ. Proof:

The left is 複 (for koromohen) from a modern textbook of Japanese handwriting and the right is 礼 from a 1935 textbook.
