Hi folks,

If asking a guest on drinks what does he/she prefer can I say;
Qu'est ce que vous préférez

Is this the French way of speaking in a party/social gathering ?

Thanks

    Can we be more specific about the context?
    Are you asking before the party (to organize it and know what to buy), or during the party ("what do you want to drink (now)?")?
    Also, are you asking this to friends, colleagues, strangers?

    This sentence is OK (except that you have to write Qu’est-ce and use an interrogation mark…)

    Alternatively you can ask: Que prendrez-vous ?

    Hi,

    During the party.

    Is there difference amongst friends, colleagues, strangers? Thanks

    Hi,

    Thanks for your advice.

    Why it needs "-" joining Qu’est and ce ?
