absolutely no

Sorry, this might sound rather stupid.... but I'm not sure if you can answer to a question writing 'absolutely no!' alone. I mean if it sounds correct or not. I know you can say 'absolutely no something' but what about a blunt answer like that?

    I can't think of a use for "absolutely no," but I think you're close.

    "Do you smoke cigars?"
    "Absolutely not!"
