Acabo de conultarle a mi superior, y el me dijo que usted esta en lo correcto !!

    You can say:

    I have just consulted with my superior/supervisor and he told me/confirmed/agreed that you are correct.

    The technical interpretation someone more senior to you in your job is a superior, but we tend to use supervisor or manager more often, as we don't like to think anyone is superior to us!:)

    I agree that to say "he tells me that you are correct" is appropriate in spoken English, and adds immediacy to the phrase. However in formal written English, I think you have to use the past tense "he told me that you are correct". Since it is written, the action has to have happened already, in order to be written about.
