    Quirky naming patterns is almost an epidemic on British streets. Hair salons in particular like to use puns and alliteration in their business names. My English Language students used to study things like this as part of their A level Langauge course, so it certainly is a language question to explore the nuances of denotation and connotation in business naming patterns.
