accueillir une sépulture

Hi!

I have to translate this sentence : "dans les églises, le sol accueille souvent des sépultures."
I can't find the right verb to translate accueillir, my try "in churches, the floor often receives tombs" but I'm not very satisfied.

    I'd go for something like :
    "It is not unusual to have graves buried under the church floor"

    I myself would say something like, "In churches, graves are often found under the floor." Having googled this, I did find one phrase, "graves in the church floor". But I prefer "under" or "beneath" myself.

    (Note to ytuped: in English, graves are not "buried", although they may be "dug" or "located".)
