Hi there.

I was walking on the sand of the beach and before leaving, I tried to say: "Voy a aclarar mis chanclas primero".

This is my try:
I'm going to rinse my flip flops first.

Is it right?

Thanks.

Would it be right then "I'm going to rinse my flip flops in the sea first" ??

    Thanks.

Absolutely Vassili, though we all say it in our own way, and as you see, there are many. Mine would be:

I'm just going to rinse/swill the sand out of my flip-flops first.

Diría "in the ocean" o "in the water."
