How can I translate "acte de réengagement" in the context of mobile phone upgrade plans. For instance if I have to change my handset to a new model with Orange, I will have to go for a fixed monthly "réengagement" with them

Can I use the word "contract" or will "commitment" be more appropriate.

I would always use "contract" when talking about mobile phones where you pay a fixed sum each month rather than just buying vouchers as and when you need them.
