Hello.

"Actress and Goop-er Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin from Coldplay bought a six-bedroom, eight-bathroom home for just under $10.5 million, this time in the Mandeville Canyon Road, Brentwood area of Los Angeles …"

Source: "FAMOUS FOLK AT HOME: A look at Gwyneth Paltrow’s newest home in Brentwood, Los Angeles" by Natasha Wood. Website: mylusciouslife.com.

I wonder what the word "Goop-er" means in that context. Google defines "goop" as "a stupid person". Does "Goop-er" mean the same?

Thank you.

Hullo Wolf. If you scroll about a quarter of the way down that page you find a link to 'Goop' ~ some kind of beauty product. So Goop-er = 'person who uses Goop products'.

    Thank you, ewie.
I clicked on the link and found on another webpage this definition:
    "what's goop?

Goop is a digital media and e-commerce company founded by Gwyneth Paltrow."

 I only gave the linked-to page a very brief glance: it looked like lipstick and stuff. In that case Goop-er = 'person in charge of the company Goop':)

EDIT: I just looked at it again ~ it seems 'Goop' is a kind of website on which the Paltrow woman sells all kinds of crap to other women who should know better but don't.
