Hi,

Could you please tell me which sentence is true?

I have been accepted for admission to Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada.

OR

I have been accepted for admission to the Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Should I use "the"?

Thank you for your help.

    Hello joie00,

Be careful with your spelling. The word is admission, not asmission.

The article "the" should be omitted.

It would be more idiomatic to write I have been admitted to Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada

or I have been accepted at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada.
