Hello,everyone,

Nice day,I am reading a passage ,I don't know the difference between the above four words,I checked the dictionary (on top of the page),but I couldn't find any useful ones for me,so kindly need your help,thanks in advanced.

Si1as Minton's funeral was a quiet (affair/event/incident/accident).

I don't know why was affair used here,not not others

    You could use either 'affair' or 'event'.

    It was definitely not an 'accident' as an accident is something which is not planned, and I cannot believe that any funeral, ever, was unplanned.
    It was unlikely to be an 'incident' as that would imply a single event in a chain of events.
